At Fearnoughts Little Rascals, we believe that little dogs deserve big adventures – and even bigger love. Based in the stunning countryside of Holmfirth, near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, we specialise in dog grooming, dog walking, and both day and holiday boarding, exclusively for small breeds.

At Fearnoughts Little Rascals, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive dog care services including dog walking, grooming, and sitting. Our mission is to ensure that every dog feels loved, safe, and happy while under our care.
With only five dogs in our care at any one time, we provide a calm, safe, and personal environment where your little rascal gets the attention they truly deserve. Our 22 acres of privately owned fields and woodland offer the perfect playground – secure, peaceful, and entirely free from the stress of unfamiliar or larger dogs.
Whether it’s a pampering session, a woodland walk, or a home-from-home boarding experience, you can rest easy knowing your dog is in fully qualified hands, covered by all relevant insurance and supported by a genuine passion for animal care.

Services
Grooming
We are qualified dog groomers, with over three years of professional experience, and over 15 years of grooming our own dogs.
We specialise in hand stripping and have experience working with both small and large breeds.
Each groom is tailored to your dog’s coat type and comfort, in a calm and caring environment — ensuring they look and feel at their best.
Walking (with private fields)
We offer reliable, friendly dog walking services with access to secure, private fields — perfect for safe, off-lead
play and exercise.
Whether your dog needs a solo walk or enjoys socialising in small groups, we tailor each walk to suit their needs.
Your pet's safety, happiness, and well-being are always our top priority.
Sitting & Overnight Boarding
We offer calm, home-based dog sitting and overnight boarding in a peaceful countryside setting. With a maximum of five dogs at any one time - your pet will enjoy a quiet, relaxed environment with plenty of individual care and attention.
We mainly care for smaller breeds and older dogs who thrive in a slower, stress-free pace.
At Fearnoughts, dogs enjoy a daily routine that includes relaxed walks in secure private fields, supervised playtime, rest, and plenty of cuddles.
The property features fully fenced, secure gardens where dogs can safely explore and unwind. We also provide regular photo and message updates to keep you updated on your dog's care while you're away.
Prices
Solo dog walk – £20
- 1hour duration
Group dog walk – £15
- Up to 5 dogs with two handlers
- These times do not include the pickup time. It's the length of walking time.
- A £5 fuel charge is added for pickups over 3 miles away
Grooming
- Please contact us for rates based on what Groom is requested and Size of the dog. See 'Contact Us' section below
Half–day care – £25
- Up to 6 hours
- Includes 1 x 1 hour dog walk/exercise
Full–day care – £40
- Up to 12 hours
- Includes 2 x 1 hour dog walks/exercise
- Includes Wash Down and Brush
Overnight care – £50
- Up to 12 hours 'overnight'
e.g. 8pm – 8am the next morning
or 9pm – 9am the next morning
etc.
